Mr. Niladry Paik is an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Law & Human Rights. He has completed his Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws degrees from the Faculty of Law at University of Dhaka. Then he joined at R. P. Shaha University, where he has since been for a deacde. Over 9 years of professional teaching experience at the university level in Bangladesh (R. P. Shaha University, Bangladesh) and administrative experience (working as a Co-ordinator of both LL.B. (Hon’s) & LL.M. Program in R. P. Shaha University in Bangladesh) and enriching the experience as a lawyer in the country. He is also a Human Rights Summer School Graduate. As an experienced educator, he brings a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical skills to the role. His passion for teaching and thirst for higher education make a strong addition to the teaching staff of this university. His professional experience allows teaching, conduct research and publishing at the same time. Along with his educational and teaching experience, he possesses strong technical, administrative and interpersonal skills that make him an excellent academician. He is experienced in blended learning strategies and familiar with the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) system. He believes that teaching is a two-way communication process that enriches and contributes knowledge to both parties involved. He is student- oriented, always considering the problem from their perspective. He is approachable and open to positive, creative, and constructive ideas in the classroom. Being a faculty as well as being part of the project management teams at the aforementioned university. He has gathered valuable experience regarding the supervision of students and organization personnel. He is the Adviser of the RPSU Debate Club, so he has gathered valuable experience in organizing events. To be an inspiring academic and a thorough researcher; to approach every problem with motivation, determination, and intelligence, and to excel at any undertaken project. Through his academic leadership, research excellence, and institutional service, Niladry Paik continues to contribute significantly to the growth of legal education, research culture, and quality assurance at R. P. Shaha University.
