Shashwata Sarker is a passionate linguist, researcher, and an academic dedicated to contributing to the linguistic research milieu of Bangladesh. He holds an MA and BA (honours) degree in Linguistics from the University of Dhaka. His research is primarily focused on theoretical syntax and acoustic phonetics. He is also interested in language technology and NLP, particularly developing tools that can help analyze underexplored and understudied languages.
