A. K. Zunayet Ahammed currently holds the position of Associate Professor and Head of the Department of English
at R. P. Shaha University in Narayanganj, Bangladesh. His academic portfolio reflects a distinguished career as a
poet, critic, translator, fiction writer, researcher, and editor of two publications. Ahammed obtained his
undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in English from the University of Rajshahi and is pursuing a doctoral
program at Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP). His prior professional engagements encompassed various
roles in different academic institutions, including Asian University of Bangladesh, Northern University Bangladesh,
and Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib University. Complementing his academic and professional pursuits, Ahammed has
authored two books: Ochena Swapnaloke (In an Undiscovered Dreamland) and Unheard Melodies, a forthcoming
collection of English poems. Many of his poetic works have been published in Literary Yard, a renowned online
literary magazine, with several others currently in the process of publication. Ahammed's areas of expertise lie in
Romantic Literature and 20th Century Modern Poetry. His academic responsibilities include conducting courses on
Victorian Poetry, 19th Century Fiction, American Literature, 20th Century English Fiction, Continental Literature,
Commonwealth Literature, and related subjects. Besides, Ahammed has contributed significantly to scholarly
discourse, having authored more than fifteen articles that have garnered acclaim both domestically and
internationally.
