Md. Nuruddin Pier Shihab has been working as a Lecturer in English since 2022 at R. P. Shaha University, Bangladesh. He earned his MA in English with Highest Distinction from Brac University and his BA (Honors) in English from RPSU. Currently, he teaches Literature courses in the department. His research interests include Creative Writing and AI, as well as Modern Poetry. Shihab has published several research papers in renowned journals and edited volumes, focusing on topics such as consensual relationships in Hindi films, identity crisis in literature, and the role of creative writing in the age of AI. He is also the recipient of the Third Prize in the Art Competition on the Life and Vision of Sir Fazle Hasan Abed at Brac University.
