Overview

Muhammad Lutfur Rahman Abrar received his BSc and MSc degrees in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the American International University-Bangladesh, Dhaka in 2017 and 2018, respectively. He obtained Dean’s Award during his postgraduate study at AIUB. He is the proud recipient of numerous awards and scholarship grants and received academic distinction on the academic results of his graduate degrees. In addition to, he is the author and co-author of several IEEE publications in peer-reviewed conferences and several Scopus indexing publications in journals. He joined in School of Engineering at R. P. Shaha University (RPSU) as a Lecturer in March 2022 and currently, he is working here as a Coordinator and Lecturer in the EEE Department. Before joining RPSU, he was an examiner at Bangladesh Technical Education Board. His research interests include power system stability, protection and control of renewable energy systems, improve the reliability and efficiency of the smart grids. The principal focus of his research is design and implementation. His teaching activities includes core courses such as Electrical Machines, Digital Signal Processing, Fields and Wave, Electronic Devices and Circuits, Power Electronics, Renewable Energy, and Digital Communication System as well as supervision of senior undergraduate thesis and design projects. Mr. Rahman is an active member of prestigious organizations like the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), reflecting his commitment to professional growth and contributions to the engineering community. With a strong passion for innovation, leadership, academic excellence, research and student development, he continues to make a meaningful impact as an academician and coordinator in the EEE department.
