Overview

Aroup Raton Shaha is a scholar and researcher specializing in Jurisprudence and International Human Rights Law. He is the Regional Director of the Bangladesh International Mediation Society (BIMS). He currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Law and Human Rights at RP Shaha University. He has been an adjunct faculty member at Jahangirnagar University and Bangladesh Open University since August 2023. Previously, he held the position of Assistant Professor and Chairman in the Department of Law at Cox's Bazar International University. He earned an LLM in International Law from South Asian University, New Delhi and an LLB from Green University. His academic excellence has been recognised with numerous accolades, including the prestigious 'President Gold Medal 2016.'
